Getting Started with Similia

Getting started with Similia is quick and easy. Similia is web-based, so you do not need to install anything: you can access it through a web browser on desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Steps to begin

  1. Create an account from the Similia website using your email address and a password.
  2. Log in from any device with the same email address. Your data is stored securely in the cloud, so logging in on a new device brings up your cases and settings.
  3. Stay online while using Similia. An internet connection is required to search the repertory, access AI features, and keep your data in sync.
  4. On mobile, you can use your browser's "Add to Home Screen" feature to launch Similia like an app shortcut.

Interface overview

After logging in, the main navigation includes:

  • Repertory
  • Materia Medica
  • Cases
  • Shop

The home page also provides quick access to the Periodic Table, which is a Pro feature.

Tutorials and training videos

Similia tutorials are available here:

Account access

Use the email address connected to your Similia subscription or trial. If you cannot access the account, use the password reset flow first.

If the reset email does not arrive, or if your subscription is not visible after login, contact support with the subscription email address.

You can change the email address on your account from Settings. The change applies to login and to billing-related notifications.

Using Similia on another device

You can use Similia on another device by signing in with the same account email address. Your cases and settings stay in sync across devices through the cloud.

Each Similia account is intended for one person. Account credentials should not be shared, and the platform monitors for activity patterns that suggest a single account is being used by multiple people in parallel; persistent sharing can lead to a warning and eventually account suspension.

For clinics or teaching settings that need multiple practitioners on Similia, contact support to discuss the clinic discount and the recommended multi-account setup.

Deleting a free account

Free-account users can delete their account from Settings under the Danger Zone / Gefahrenzone tab.

Paid subscriptions need billing cancellation handled separately from account deletion.
