Similia includes a growing library of homeopathic repertories and Materia Medica texts. Some resources are included by default, while others are premium or add-ons that can be unlocked from the Shop.

The classic Materia Medica library is available on the Free plan, which ships these 21 classic books alongside the 7 classical repertories. Eight of them — Hahnemann's two works, Farrington, Dunham, Guernsey, Hughes & Dake, Hale and H. C. Allen's Nosodes — were added in August 2026. On Free you can read every one of these books; searching them by keyword or by meaning needs Pro.

Premium resources

Premium resources depend on your Pro edition, your add-ons and, for Lifetime Pro holders, your Lifetime Pro add-ons.

• Murphy's MetaRepertory: shows the original book page number for each rubric. To see the page number, click any remedy inside a rubric and the page is displayed in the remedy detail. Showing the repertory book's own page number is currently specific to Murphy's MetaRepertory; Complete Repertory 2026 instead lists each remedy's original sources, with page references where available, in the remedy detail.

How to get premium resources

• With a Pro subscription, each edition includes its own premium content: the Murphy edition includes Murphy's MetaRepertory and Nature's Materia Medica, the Complete edition includes Complete Repertory 2026, the Saine edition includes Saine Repertory 2025, and the Mangialavori edition (shown as "Similia Pro (Suggesta)" in the Shop and "Suggesta 2.1 edition" on the pricing page) includes Suggesta 2.1 and Mangialavori 100. Pro Base includes none of these; of the list above it includes only Jan Scholten's series.
• To combine editions, a subscriber on one premium edition can add another edition's content to the same plan as a subscription add-on: "Murphy add-on", "Complete add-on", "Saine add-on" or "Mangialavori add-on". The Murphy, Complete and Saine add-ons are in the Shop under "Add-ons"; the Mangialavori add-on is offered when you open Suggesta 2.1 or Mangialavori 100 while it is locked. On Pro Base, switch to the edition you need instead.
• With Lifetime Pro, Jan Scholten's series is included, but none of the other premium repertories and books above. Holders can buy Murphy MetaRepertory, Nature's Materia Medica, Complete Repertory, Saine Repertory, Suggesta 2.1 and Mangialavori 100 once as Lifetime Pro add-ons (see below).

Add-ons

Add-ons can be managed from the Shop page. There are three kinds:

• One-time add-ons (the Shop's "One-time purchases" section): you pay once and keep the work permanently, whatever your plan. The Complete Repertory translations are the exception: they work only while you have Complete access.
• Subscription add-ons (the Shop's "Add-ons" section): billed with a Pro subscription and available while it lasts.
• Lifetime Pro add-ons: one-time purchases for Lifetime Pro holders only, kept for as long as the Lifetime Pro licence lasts.

One-time add-ons

These are sold to every account, Free included. The Complete Repertory translations are the exception: buying one needs an active Complete subscription (see "Repertory translations" below).

AI Analysis needs Pro plus one of these premium repertories: Murphy, Complete, Saine, Suggesta, Meditative or Griffith (with Lifetime Pro, that means the Murphy MetaRepertory, Complete Repertory, Saine Repertory or Suggesta 2.1 Lifetime Pro add-on). Owning QRep 5, The Lacs, the Dreams Repertory or the New World Veterinary Repertory does not meet that requirement. The Dreams and New World Veterinary repertories are also not searched by the other AI tools (Notes to Rubrics, Photo Analysis, Live Audio and Similia AI): use them for browsing, searching and manual repertorization. See "Repertorization and Analysis (Selecting Rubrics)" for AI Analysis.

Getting the Dreams or veterinary repertory

The Dreams Repertory and the New World Veterinary Repertory always appear in the repertory selector, as "Dreams" and "Vet". To buy one:

1. Open the Shop and find it under One-time purchases. Alternatively, select "Dreams" or "Vet" in the repertory selector while it is locked.
2. Click Buy now and complete the checkout.
3. When you return to Similia, a confirmation appears, such as "New World Veterinary Repertory unlocked!".

Once you own it, on any plan you can browse it chapter by chapter, search it by keyword or AI semantic search, filter by remedy, and add its rubrics to a repertorization next to your other repertories (on Free, within the monthly limit of 3 new cases and 3 analyses); remedies it shares with the Similia catalogue merge into a single column. Filtering by grade or by rubric size (number of remedies) needs Pro, as in every repertory.

Subscription add-ons need a Pro subscription. The Meditative, Richard Pitt and Griffith packages are offered on monthly and annual plans, not on the 3-year plan, and can't be added to Lifetime Pro yet. They are not offered in India.

Lifetime Pro add-ons

Lifetime Pro holders, including those on the 12-payment plan, can buy these premium works once from the Shop. Each lasts for as long as the Lifetime Pro licence does:

Suggesta 2.1 and Mangialavori 100 are sold one-time only to Lifetime Pro holders. Subscribers get both with the Mangialavori edition of Pro or the Mangialavori add-on, and anyone who bought either one-time before keeps it. The one-time add-ons listed above don't need Lifetime Pro. For Lifetime Pro itself, see "Lifetime Pro: Pay Once for Similia Pro".

Vermeulen add-ons

Similia offers Vermeulen's Materia Medica as one-time add-ons:

• Vermeulen Ultimate Prisma Bundle: Synoptic Reference 1, Synoptic Reference 2, Concordant Reference, and Prisma Reference. The integrated package covers 2,617 remedies.
• Each Prisma volume on its own: Concordant Reference (1,284 remedies), Synoptic Reference 1 (505 remedies), Synoptic Reference 2 (606 remedies) or Prisma Reference (222 remedies). A locked volume in the Materia Medica offers the single book you clicked, with the full bundle underneath. Owning the bundle already includes all four.
• Vermeulen Plants (4 volumes): Frans Vermeulen and Linda Johnston's botanical-family Materia Medica, covering over 2,000 plant remedies across 149 botanical families.

Vermeulen content appears in Materia Medica source filters, remedy pages, source pills, and search when the user has access.

Vermeulen content is credited to Saltire Books.

Translations

The user interface can be switched to other languages with Change language in the avatar menu; on a phone, Change language is in the menu.

Repertory translations

Complete Repertory 2026 is available in additional languages as optional one-time translation add-ons for Complete subscribers (the Complete edition of Pro, or the Complete add-on on another Pro edition); each card says "Requires an active Complete subscription.":

Each is the full translation of Complete Repertory 2026, with the same rubrics in that language and semantic search support. It is a one-time purchase that stays on your account and works while you have Complete access.

A translation add-on covers Complete Repertory 2026 only. It does not translate the classical repertories (such as Kent, Boericke or Boger) or any other premium repertory.

To buy a translation:

1. Make sure you have an active Complete subscription (the Complete edition or the Complete add-on). The Complete Repertory Lifetime Pro add-on does not qualify.
2. Switch the interface to that language with Change language. The card also appears automatically in countries where the language is spoken. The German translation is not offered in India or Turkey.
3. Open the Shop and find the translation under One-time purchases.
4. Click Buy now.

You can also add a translation when you subscribe to the Complete edition, by ticking it in the upgrade window. It is billed with your first payment (with a free trial, when the trial ends); the Turkish translation is billed at checkout. This option is not offered in Turkey or India, where you buy the translation from the Shop once your subscription is active.

The Complete Repertory is not yet available in French; French is available for Materia Medica content (see below).

Materia Medica translations

Selected classic Materia Medica content is available in 17 languages, so that practitioners working in those languages can read remedy material in their own language:

German, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Russian, French, Dutch, Hebrew, Polish, Bulgarian, Hindi, Romanian, Japanese, Italian, Greek, Chinese and Bengali.

Premium and add-on books keep their source language: the Jeremy Sherr Provings, for example, are in English whichever interface language you choose.

The translated text is shown automatically when you switch the app to that language, and search matches are highlighted in the translated text as well.

Reading a book you have not bought

Premium Materia Medica books are not hidden from you before you buy them.

• Free samples. Premium Materia Medica editions and add-ons each open a free sample remedy, and the Pitt package and the Vermeulen Ultimate Prisma Bundle offer one labelled sample per book. The Jeremy Sherr Provings open Taxus baccata through its Mind chapter for free. While reading one, a "Free sample" badge and the line "You're reading a free sample from ..." appear, with an "Unlock the full Materia Medica" link.
• Locked sources show an upgrade offer, not an error. Opening a Materia Medica source your plan does not include brings up an upgrade panel explaining how to unlock it, instead of an error page.
• The remedy list shows locked books too. The Materia Medica list includes remedies from the sources you have not unlocked, shown as locked, so you can see what a book covers before deciding. The Meditative Provings and Griffith packages are the exception: their remedies appear only once you have them.

Package detail pages

Paid plans and most add-ons have detail pages in the Shop/Pricing flow. These pages show included books, access rules, and pricing before purchase.
