Comparing Remedies (Remedy Comparison Chart)

Comparing Remedies (Remedy Comparison Chart)

The Remedy Comparison Chart lets you compare remedies by looking at how their rubrics are spread across the sections of a repertory (Mind, Head, Stomach, and so on). It is a study tool for seeing where each remedy's strength lies, side by side.

Where do I find it?

The chart lives in the Tools area:

  • Click Tools in the top navigation and choose Remedy comparison chart.
  • Or open the Tools card on the home dashboard, or the Tools hub, and pick the chart from there.

The Tools hub also holds the Periodic Table, and more tools are being added over time.

How do I use it?

  1. Open the Remedy comparison chart.
  2. Choose the repertory you want to compare in.
  3. Add remedies to the comparison. You can compare up to 10 remedies at once; a counter shows how many you have added.
  4. Read the result in whichever view suits you.

There are four views:

  • Chart: the visual comparison.
  • Table: the same data as numbers.
  • Distribution insights: a plain-language reading of what the chart shows, with an "In plain language" summary and a "Detailed analysis" section you can expand.
  • Similar remedy distributions: finds other remedies whose section pattern resembles your remedy. Click Find similar remedies; each result shows a similarity percentage and can be added straight into the comparison.

Calculation modes

The chart can count in four ways, so you can ask different questions of the same data:

  • Rubric count: the plain number of rubrics per section.
  • Equalized by remedy: removes the effect of one remedy simply having more rubrics than another.
  • Equalized by remedy and section: also removes the effect of some sections being much larger than others.
  • Over / under-represented: shows where a remedy appears more or less than you would expect.

Each mode has a short explanation in the interface. You can also change the Palette (Soft, Vivid, or Color-blind safe) and switch on Color by rubric degree.

What do I need to use it?

  • The Remedy Comparison Chart is a Pro feature.
  • You can only chart a repertory your account has access to, so the repertories offered depend on your plan and add-ons.
  • It does not use AI credits. The insights are written from fixed, pre-written templates rather than generated by AI, so comparing remedies costs nothing beyond your subscription.

Good to know

  • Similar remedy distributions is not available for QRep5, because that repertory has only one section, so there is no distribution to compare.
  • A remedy needs enough rubrics in the chosen repertory before a meaningful similarity can be calculated.
