# Lifetime Pro: Pay Once for Similia Pro

**Lifetime Pro** is Similia Pro Base bought once instead of by subscription. It lasts for as long as Similia provides the service, and nothing renews. You can pay in one payment or in **12 monthly payments**. Premium repertories and books are not included. Six of them can be added as one-time **Lifetime Pro add-ons** (see below). The Meditative, Richard Pitt and Colin Griffith packages aren't available with Lifetime Pro yet. Other one-time books and repertories in the Shop are sold as usual, except the Complete Repertory translations: they need an active Complete subscription, and the Complete Repertory Lifetime Pro add-on doesn't count.

## What's included in Lifetime Pro?

Everything in Pro Base:

* the AI toolkit: Notes to Rubrics, Photo Analysis, Live Audio Mode (Beta) and AI case analysis (on Lifetime Pro, Live Audio doesn't add rubrics automatically, and AI case analysis also needs a premium repertory; see below)
* unlimited cases and analyses
* the 7 classical repertories, the classic Materia Medica library and Jan Scholten's materia medica series
* offline mode in the installed app (see "Using Similia Offline (Beta)")
* new Pro Base features and content as Pro subscribers get them, with no upgrade fees
* **1,000 AI credits**, once

Not included:

* premium repertories and books (six of them are available as Lifetime Pro add-ons, below)
* a monthly AI credit allowance

Some books and repertories are licensed from their authors and publishers. If such a licence ends, the work can be withdrawn for all users, Lifetime Pro holders included.

### AI case analysis needs a premium repertory

AI case analysis ("AI Analysis") runs only on a premium repertory. With Lifetime Pro alone, the AI Analysis window has no preset or repertory you can select. To use it, add one of these Lifetime Pro add-ons: **Murphy MetaRepertory**, **Complete Repertory**, **Saine Repertory** or **Suggesta 2.1**. Live Audio Mode (Beta) transcribes and detects symptoms on Lifetime Pro but doesn't add rubrics automatically, and Lifetime Pro add-ons don't change that. Notes to Rubrics and Photo Analysis work without a premium repertory: with none, they use the 7 classical repertories.

## How much does it cost?

Paying once always costs less than the 12 payments. Lifetime Pro has **no free trial** and takes **no coupons, promotion codes or discounts**. To try Pro first, start a Pro subscription's 14-day free trial if your account is eligible (the trial is for first-time subscribers; see "Similia Pricing and Subscription FAQ"), and switch to Lifetime Pro whenever you're ready.

Lifetime Pro is sold in US dollars, euros and pounds. It isn't offered in India or Turkey yet; Pro subscriptions are available there as usual.

## How do I buy Lifetime Pro?

1. Open **Shop** in the app, or **Pricing** on the Similia website.
2. Choose the **Lifetime** tab next to the billing periods.
3. Under **Choose a package**, pick **Lifetime Pro** or **Lifetime Pro Bundle**.
4. Under **How to pay**, pick **Pay once** or **12 monthly payments**.
5. Choose **Get Lifetime Pro** (or **Get the Lifetime Pro Bundle**). If you already subscribe or are on a free trial, the button reads **Switch to Lifetime Pro** (or **Switch to the Lifetime Pro Bundle**).
6. Check the summary before anything is charged: the price, any **Credit for unused subscription time**, **Due today**, what **Ends at purchase** and what **Stays in the account**.
7. Tick **I agree to the Lifetime Pro licence terms**, then choose **Continue to secure payment** to pay through Stripe.

On the website, the button takes you to Lifetime Pro in the app's **Shop**, where you choose it again to see the summary. Without a Similia account, it opens sign-up first ("Create a free account to buy"). The upgrade window in the app also offers Lifetime Pro under **Prefer to pay once?** → **See Lifetime Pro**.

After payment, Similia shows **Welcome to Lifetime Pro** (or **Welcome to the Lifetime Pro Bundle**) and adds the 1,000 AI credits. If they aren't showing yet, refresh after a moment.

## How do the 12 monthly payments work?

* Lifetime Pro starts with the first payment, and Lifetime Pro add-ons can be bought straight away.
* Stripe takes the monthly amount for 11 more months, less any credit for unused subscription time if you switched from a subscription. After the 12th payment, Lifetime Pro is yours for good, with no further payments.
* **Settings → Plan & billing** shows **Payment … of 12** and the date and amount of the next payment.
* You can stop at any time: write to **info@similia.io** or use the support chat in the app. Access continues to the end of the month already paid for. Then Lifetime Pro ends together with any Lifetime Pro add-ons, and nothing more is owed. The account stays on Free with all its data. A later Pro subscription has no free trial.
* The plan isn't a loan: each payment covers its own month.

If a monthly payment fails, Settings shows "The last payment didn't go through. Update the payment method to keep Lifetime Pro." Choose **Update payment method**. If the payment still can't be collected after Stripe's retries, the plan ends in the same way as stopping it.

## I already subscribe. What happens if I switch?

* Buying Lifetime Pro cancels your running subscription, or ends your free trial.
* The unused time you have already paid for is credited: taken off the price when paying once, or against the next payments on the 12-payment plan. A free trial has no paid time to credit.
* Lifetime Pro covers Pro Base, so an edition (Murphy, Complete, Saine, or Mangialavori, the Suggesta 2.1 edition shown in the Shop as **Similia Pro (Suggesta)**) and any subscription add-ons end with the subscription. Their premium repertories and books can be added back as Lifetime Pro add-ons, or bought together through the Lifetime Pro Bundle.
* The Meditative, Richard Pitt and Colin Griffith packages aren't available with Lifetime Pro yet, so they end with the subscription and can't be added back for now.
* One-time purchases, cases, notes, AI credits and settings stay in the account. A Complete Repertory translation you already own keeps working only with Complete Repertory access, which on Lifetime Pro means the Complete Repertory Lifetime Pro add-on or the Lifetime Pro Bundle.

Checkout lists the credit and everything that ends before you pay. If the switch is refused with "The current subscription needs attention first (a payment is due or a change is scheduled)", open **Manage Subscription** in the Shop, sort out the payment or the scheduled change in the billing portal, then try again.

## Lifetime Pro add-ons

Premium repertories and books for Lifetime Pro holders, including holders on the 12-payment plan. Each is bought once and lasts exactly as long as the Lifetime Pro licence. If the licence ends (the plan is stopped before the 12th payment, Lifetime Pro is refunded, or the licence is ended), its add-ons end with it.

To buy one, open **Shop**, find **Lifetime Pro add-ons** and choose **Buy now**. Add-ons are billed in the currency your licence was bought in.

* Without Lifetime Pro, these cards show **For Lifetime Pro holders**.
* Suggesta 2.1 and Mangialavori 100 are sold one-time only to Lifetime Pro holders. Subscribers get them with the Mangialavori edition or add-on. Anyone who bought them one-time earlier keeps them.
* The Meditative, Richard Pitt and Colin Griffith packages show **Not available with Lifetime Pro yet**.
* Other one-time books and repertories in the Shop are sold as usual and don't depend on Lifetime Pro. The exception is the Complete Repertory translations: they need an active Complete subscription, so they can't be added to the Complete Repertory Lifetime Pro add-on.
* Your own repertory additions aren't available in a repertory held as a Lifetime Pro add-on; see "Repertory Additions (Adding Your Own Rubrics and Remedies)".

## What is the Lifetime Pro Bundle?

The same Lifetime Pro licence together with five Lifetime Pro add-ons: Murphy MetaRepertory, Nature's Materia Medica, Complete Repertory, Saine Repertory and Suggesta 2.1. Mangialavori 100 is not part of the bundle; holders can add it separately. Bought separately, Lifetime Pro paid once plus these five add-ons would cost $3,494.99 / EUR 2,994.99 / GBP 2,594.99.

The bundle's add-ons start with the licence, last as long as it does, and are refunded only together with it. An account that already has Lifetime Pro, or a Lifetime Pro payment plan running, can't buy the bundle; buy the add-ons it needs one by one instead.

## How do AI credits work with Lifetime Pro?

AI toolkit operations use credits. Lifetime Pro includes 1,000 AI credits once, added with the payment (or the first payment on the plan). There is no monthly allowance. To top up, open the account menu, find **AI Credits** and choose **Buy more**. Credit pack prices are in "Similia Pricing and Subscription FAQ".

## Where do I manage Lifetime Pro?

* **Settings → Plan & billing** shows the licence. Paid in full, it shows "Pro Base is yours for good. Nothing renews.", the purchase date, the licence terms version and, during the first 14 days, the date until which a full refund can be requested. On the payment plan, it shows the payment progress and the next payment instead. Its buttons are **Receipts and invoices** (or **Manage payment plan** on the plan), **Licence terms** and **Lifetime Pro add-ons**.
* The account menu shows **Plan & billing** once Lifetime Pro is paid in full, or **Manage payment plan** while the plan runs.
* In **Shop**, your Lifetime Pro status replaces the plans, followed by the Lifetime Pro add-ons.

While you hold Lifetime Pro, the account can't start a Pro subscription or a free trial: the Shop and the upgrade window offer Lifetime Pro add-ons instead, and choosing a plan on Pricing takes you to them.

## The licence in brief

* It is for one named practitioner, on all their own devices (computer, tablet and phone); the app shows any limit on premium offline downloads. Sharing the account or its sign-in with anyone else, colleagues included, isn't allowed.
* It is personal: it can't be sold, transferred, given away, inherited or moved to another account.
* It lasts for as long as Similia provides the service. The terms and the price don't change after purchase.
* Similia can end a licence only for a serious breach of the terms (for example sharing the account, scraping content, fraud, or disputing a genuine payment with the bank), with 30 days to export your data, or if Similia stops providing the service, with at least 90 days' notice and a full data export.
* If Similia's business is sold, Lifetime Pro licences go with it to the new owner.
* The licence ends on the holder's death. The executor, or a professional executor the holder named to Similia in writing, can ask support for an export of the patient records in the account.

## Can I get a refund?

Yes. Ask within **14 days** of buying Lifetime Pro or a Lifetime Pro add-on for a full refund. Write to **info@similia.io** or use the support chat in the app.

* On the 12-payment plan, the payment made is refunded and the plan is stopped.
* Refunding Lifetime Pro also refunds and ends the Lifetime Pro add-ons bought with it.
* Add-ons that came with the Lifetime Pro Bundle are part of the licence and are refunded only together with it.
* Refunding Lifetime Pro removes the 1,000 included AI credits (up to the credits left in the account).
* If you switched from a subscription, the refund covers what you paid for Lifetime Pro. The cancelled subscription isn't restored, but you can subscribe again at any time, without a free trial: an account that has held Lifetime Pro doesn't get a free trial, even after a refund or a stopped payment plan.
* After 14 days, payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires.

## What happens if I delete my account?

You don't need to cancel anything first. In **Settings → Danger zone → Delete account**, tick **I understand the Lifetime Pro licence ends permanently.**, then choose **Delete Account** and confirm with **Yes, Delete Everything**. Deleting the account ends the licence and its Lifetime Pro add-ons for good: they can't be restored, moved to another account or refunded after the 14-day window. A running payment plan is stopped.

## Troubleshooting

* **There's no Lifetime tab.** Lifetime Pro isn't offered in India or Turkey yet. If you already hold Lifetime Pro, the Shop shows your licence instead of the tab.
* **"Lifetime Pro isn't available for this billing region yet."** Your billing currency or region isn't one Lifetime Pro is sold in.
* **"This account can't buy Lifetime Pro here. Contact us and we'll help."** Contact support through the chat or at info@similia.io.
* **"The licence terms were updated. Review them and accept again."** Read the terms, tick the box again and continue.
* **Access hasn't appeared after paying.** The **Confirming Lifetime Pro** window waits for Stripe to confirm the payment. Access then arrives on its own, even if you close the window. If it says Stripe hasn't confirmed yet, the payment hasn't failed; choose **Check again** shortly. Make sure you're signed in to the same account you bought with. If access still doesn't appear, contact support.
* **A Lifetime Pro add-on can't be bought.** Check that Lifetime Pro is active in **Settings → Plan & billing**: add-ons are sold to Lifetime Pro holders only.
* **AI Analysis has nothing to select.** AI case analysis needs a premium repertory: add Murphy MetaRepertory, Complete Repertory, Saine Repertory or Suggesta 2.1 as a Lifetime Pro add-on.
